Transitecture reimagines the boundaries of design, blending transdisciplinary methods with a focus on the in-between and the in-flux. We explore unconventional paths to create spaces that evolve, provoking new ways of thinking.

Fractional Design Leadership

Research and practice in dialogue for spatial design

trasi_DEV is the for-profit development and consulting arm of Transitecture, created to carry forward projects that extend beyond the nonprofit mission. Our work is rooted in the same philosophy: incubating ideas about hospitality, public interest design, and the built environment across historic, political, and cultural contexts.

By maintaining an active research practice through Transitecture, we cultivate a long view, studying how architecture shapes social and cultural life. trasi_DEV brings those insights into the marketplace, applying them to development projects and client work where thoughtful strategy and creative design unlock new forms of value.

This dual structure creates a healthy ecosystem: research informs practice, and practice sustains research. The result is development that is not only high-quality and financially sound, but also deeply resonant and contemplative, design that emerges from its context and communities.
